Function & responsibilities

Sales strategy & revenue management
 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve annual targets, with a focus on new customer acquisition and market expansion in the B2B sector.
  • Prepare and negotiate quotes, contracts, and pricing agreements with key accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development to align sales efforts with company goals.

Customer relationship management

  • Act as the primary contact for existing and prospective customers, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, needs analyses, and follow-ups to strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and requests for samples or technical information.
  • Organize and analyze customer satisfaction surveys to derive actionable improvements.

Digital sales & CRM

  • Maintain and optimize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activities, leads, and pipeline progress.
  • Utilize digital tools (e.g. LinkedIn, email campaigns) to generate leads and nurture customer relationships.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date sales data and reporting for management review.

Product & market development

  • Work closely with development and production teams to understand technical products (e.g. PP fabrics, geotextiles) and their applications.
  • Provide technical consulting to customers in coordination with internal experts.
  • Support the launch of new products and market introduction strategies.
  • Represent BTT at trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.

Process optimization & collaboration

  • Analyze sales processes and propose improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales policies and industry standards.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, production, and logistics to streamline operations.

Integration & reporting

  • Contribute to the integration of sales processes and systems following the company’s transformation.
  • Provide insights and support for group-wide sales initiatives and consolidation efforts.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in technical sales or B2B environments.
  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or account management (experience in textiles, agriculture, or infrastructure is a plus).
  • Technical understanding of PP fabrics, geotextiles, or similar products is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English; French, Dutch, or German is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP) and digital sales tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and customer-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel (1-2 days per week).
